Overiew of Practice	This award-winning firm was borne from a partnership between Penelope Stone and Richard Beattie. The Stone/Beattie Studio provide a range of professional Urban Design, Architectural, Interior Design and Contract Management services through a far reaching network that also extends to practices in the United Kingdom. Their scope of work spans a wide range of commercial and domestic clients and the quality of their work is speaks for itself. In 1995 their design for staff housing block for the United Touring Group, at the Victoria Falls won an IAZ (Institute of Architects Zimbabwe) award. This project gained much critical acclaim and was featured in Links International's feature volume 'Residential Architecture'. In 1999, they again won an IAZ award for their design of the Genito Urinary and Dermatology Clinics at Wilkins Hospital in Harare for the metropolitan city council - City of Harare. . .
