Scattered
throughout most of Zimbabwe, these igneous rock features have emerged
through millennia of erosion and weathering. Now commonly known as 'balancing
rocks' they come in various sometime gravity defying forms.
The most popular of these - the Bank note Rocks - in Epworth, (South Harare) - catapulted to rock stardom when they were (as they still are) featured on the back of Zimbabwean paper currency. Ref. The Author |
